Detailed Itinerary

Arrive at your resort in Sauraha. In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour through a traditional Tharu village to see mud-and-reed houses. In the evening, sit by the banks of the Rapti River with a cold drink to watch a spectacular lowland sunset, followed by a live Tharu cultural dance show.

Tigers are elusive and masters of camouflage. While rhino sightings are almost guaranteed (>90%), tiger sightings require patience, luck, and are most common during the hot dry months (Feb–April).
